East Coast and Wolds Area social event:
Sandi organised a Sunday lunch get together for the Providers and clients she supports. The event was very well attended which is much appreciated.
We got together at the Half moon in Alford on Sunday the 14th of October 2012 firstly having a drink and a chat, Sandi spent some time with some clients she did not know very well and felt this very beneficial, it was a treat for Sandi and the Providers not having to cook Sunday lunch.
After tucking into a nice roast dinner some people treated themselves to a lovely pudding (Not those trying to watch their weight IE: Sandi!!)
Once lunch had gone down a raffle that Sandi had organised was drawn, it was nice to see that the prizes ended up fairly well shared out. A small profit was made around £5.00 this will be added to the social fund which now stands at £60.00 this will be spent on the raffle Prizes for the Xmas Party.
Carol presented Chris with a birthday cake and we all sang happy Birthday whilst he blew out the candles.
Ray who is a keen photographer had been asked by Sandi to be the official photographer for the day; he was snapping away during the afternoon and dropped off the photos to the ASA office the next week, a big thanks to Ray. Before everyone left Ray made a short speech when he thanked Sandi for arranging the event and again wished Chris a happy Birthday.
The next get together is the Xmas party at the Grange and links at Sandilands on Friday the 14th of December when we will bring a party to a party to enjoy a disco and a buffet cost £10.00 per head.
